Install A-Core Pole on iPhone

Follow the setup for your computer, then prepare your iPhone and install the app. Use the step navigation to jump to where you left off.

Before you start

You need iOS 17 or later, a Windows PC or Mac, your Apple Account, and a USB data cable. Use a USB-C or Lightning cable to suit your iPhone and computer.

Go to app downloads

1. Set up on Windows

  1. Install iCloud on your PC from the Microsoft Store.
  2. Update iCloud. In Microsoft Store, open Library, check for updates and install any available iCloud update.
  3. Log in to iCloud on your PC with the same Apple Account email you use on the iPhone you want to install AltStore on. Approve the sign-in on your phone and enter the verification code in iCloud on your PC.
  4. Install Apple Devices from the Microsoft Store.
  5. Open Apple Devices and connect your iPhone with your USB-C or Lightning data cable. Unlock your phone and tap Trust if asked. Wait until your iPhone appears in Apple Devices before continuing. If it is not found, update your iPhone software and Apple Devices, then reconnect and try again.
  6. Enable Wi-Fi access. Select your iPhone in Apple Devices, open General, tick Show this iPhone when on Wi-Fi under Options, then click Apply. This allows future AltStore refreshes without the USB cable.
  7. Install AltServer on your PC from altstore.io. Choose AltStore Classic, then the Windows AltServer download. AltServer is the computer app that installs AltStore on your iPhone.
  8. Open AltServer from the Windows Start menu. It runs in the background.
  9. Click the AltServer icon beside the clock. If it is hidden, click the small up arrow in the Windows taskbar first.
  10. Hover over Install AltStore → click your iPhone's name. Enter the same Apple Account email and password when prompted, complete any verification and wait for installation to finish.
AltServer setup or sign-in not working?

Open the apps in this order: iCloud → Apple Devices → AltServer. First open iCloud and make sure you are signed in, then open Apple Devices and wait for your iPhone to appear, and only then open AltServer and retry the installation.

Preferably use Run as administrator where available when opening these apps, especially AltServer. Administrator mode is recommended for troubleshooting; the setup should also work without it.

The official Windows setup guide lists the required iTunes components and extra setup for Microsoft Store iCloud. If AltServer asks for these, complete that setup and reopen AltServer.

For error -22411 with no code box, check that you have finished signing in to the iCloud app on your PC, then restart AltServer and retry.

1. Set up on Mac

  1. Sign in to iCloud in System Settings with the same Apple Account as your iPhone.
  2. Connect your unlocked iPhone by USB, open Finder and select your phone. Tap Trust if asked.
  3. In General, tick Show this iPhone when on Wi-Fi and click Apply.
  4. Install and open AltServer using the official Mac guide.
  5. Click AltServer in the Mac menu bar, choose Install AltStore → your iPhone's name and sign in with the same Apple Account.

2. Prepare your iPhone

  1. Go to Settings → General → VPN & Device Management and trust your Apple Account under Developer App.
  2. Enable Settings → Privacy & Security → Developer Mode and follow the restart prompts.

3. Install A-Core Pole

  1. Open the app download page in Safari on your iPhone. Tap Download iPhone IPA and confirm the download if asked. Wait for it to finish; the IPA will be in the Downloads folder in Files. Keep your phone connected by USB and AltServer running on your computer.
  2. Open AltStore on your iPhone, sign in with the same Apple Account if asked, select My Apps, tap +, browse to Downloads and choose the downloaded .ipa file.
  3. Open A-Core Pole and sign in with your existing studio account.

4. Keep the app refreshed

Refresh every 7 days with a free Apple Account. After enabling Wi-Fi access above, you can leave the USB cable unplugged: keep your PC or Mac awake with AltServer running and your iPhone on the same Wi-Fi network. Open AltStore on your phone and tap My Apps → Refresh All before the apps expire. Turning on the computer alone does not guarantee a refresh. Downloading the IPA in Safari alone does not install it.
